Real-time precision
Watch net speed, raw speed, accuracy, and remaining time update as you type.
A focused typing test that turns every keystroke into clear, useful feedback—so you can improve speed without sacrificing accuracy.
English is the default. Hindi and Marathi include a built-in Devanagari InScript keyboard, complete key mapping, and language-specific words, sentences, and passages.
TypeScore Lab shows what happened during your test, not just the score at the end.
Watch net speed, raw speed, accuracy, and remaining time update as you type.
Reveal a responsive QWERTY keyboard that highlights the next key and the finger to use.
Find slow keys, error-prone letters, consistency trends, and your complete recent history.
Use a clean, distraction-free test to measure your words per minute and understand exactly where your technique can improve.
Choose a 15, 30, 60, or 120-second typing test, set a word target, practice a quote, or keep typing in Endless mode. Your timer begins on the first keystroke. TypeScore Lab calculates live WPM from correctly entered characters and displays raw speed separately, giving you an honest view of both pace and precision.
There is no sign-up and no complicated setup. Your anonymous results remain separated from other visitors, while your recent sessions are available in the analytics dashboard.
Fast typing comes from consistent movement, not frantic key presses. The optional visual keyboard highlights the next key and suggests which finger to use. It is especially helpful when learning touch typing, correcting inefficient habits, or practicing keys that usually cause hesitation.
After each session, review your speed curve, accuracy, cadence, error keys, and ergonomic finger load. Focus your next practice session on one weak area instead of trying to improve everything at once.

TypeScore Lab follows the common WPM formula: correctly typed characters are divided by five, then divided by the number of minutes. Raw WPM includes every typed character, while net WPM reflects correct input.
Accuracy should come first. Repeated mistakes interrupt rhythm and create extra correction time. Building accurate muscle memory usually produces sustainable speed more effectively than rushing.
Practice for short, regular sessions. Keep your wrists neutral, use the correct finger for each key, look ahead in the text, and review your slow or error-prone keys after every test.
Choose a language and mode, settle into your rhythm, and let the data guide you.
